EOatSEE’s Catalogue of Events Database is a reference collocated data set to perform data analysis, which shall provide the backbone of all data related tasks in the project. It is built as a catalogue of an extensive suite of satellite and in situ data and existing climatologies over the areas of interest for each specific EOatSEE demonstrator, to serve as a basis to perform algorithms development, validation activities and scientific analyses required along the project. 

This has been the object of a comprehensive discussion among the consortium partners, confronting the needs from the demonstrator leaders with these available solutions and the additional ones to be produced within the project. The Catalogue of Events Database is to be presented as a metadata catalogue, taking advantage of the NextGEOSS data hub as a tool to map and make available the data to be used in the project.
